Download and install OpenOffice 2.2 on a Windows computer
Both this new 2.2 version and previous versions of OpenOffice can be on one computer at the same time. When you download a new version of OpenOffice, it replaces the older versions of OpenOffice and you keep all your personal openoffice files.

Downloading can take 3 or more hours on a 56k dial-up connection and sometimes longer if the server is busy. If you have a dial-up connection consider purchasing a CD from sources listed here. One source we like is www.edmunds-enterprises.com They have OpenOffice 2.2 for $0.99 (US) plus $1.50 (US) shipping
